As exciting as it is to send your child to summer camp, we know the process can also feel overwhelming and bring a mix of emotions. With that in mind, our circle of support extends beyond our campers — it includes parents as well.
From the very beginning, Marc and Kylie work closely with families to help guide the transition to Trail’s End. Whether you have questions about packing, preparing your child emotionally, or helping them build early connections, they are there to support you every step of the way.
Prior to camp, Julia Galanti, our Health Center Administrator, will connect with you to review any medical needs and ensure your child’s health information is thoroughly understood. Jill Relkin, our Special Food Needs Coordinator, is also available to discuss dietary needs and provide additional support so families feel confident about the care their child will receive.
Once your child arrives at camp, that support continues. During the first week of the summer, you will have a scheduled call with our Assistant Director of Boys, Zach Wahl, or our Assistant Director of Girls, Kylie, where you will hear about your child’s adjustment and early experiences.
Throughout the summer, Marc, Kylie, Zach, and our leadership team are always available by phone, text, or email to support you and your child. One of our greatest strengths is our ability to communicate thoughtfully and consistently as we continue to build relationships with your family throughout your years at TEC.
