For more than 30 years, the Trail’s End community has come together through TEC Cares, teaching campers the importance of giving back and caring for others. Through this program, campers learn that philanthropy can take many forms — donating their own money, rallying support, or giving their time and energy to help those in need.
Campers play an active role in leading TEC Cares initiatives throughout the summer, including Sports-A-Thons, Turkey Trots, March Madness contests, popcorn sales, Bar and Bat Mitzvah projects, and community car washes. Watching campers take ownership of these efforts — with passion, creativity, and heart — is one of the most meaningful parts of camp life.
Our family is incredibly proud of the Trail’s End campers, staff, and alumni who have joined together to make a difference in the lives of children and families who, just like our own campers, deserve the opportunity to enjoy a carefree summer filled with friendship and joy.

We are proud and humbled to announce that Trail’s End was recognized as the Philanthropic Camp of the Year on March 30th, 2023, at the annual SCOPE Benefit in NYC.
For over three decades, Trail’s End has proudly supported SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education), a nonprofit organization that provides summer camp experiences to children regardless of their financial background.
In recognition of this long-standing commitment, Trail’s End was honored as Philanthropic Camp of the Year at the 2023 SCOPE Benefit in New York City. We are grateful to accept this recognition on behalf of the entire TEC community — campers, staff, families, and alumni — whose generosity and spirit make TEC Cares possible.
