Trail's End Camp Parents
As exciting as it is to send your child to summer camp, the process can be overwhelming and lead to some degree of anxiety. With that in mind, we feel it is important to make sure our circle of support extends beyond the campers to the parents.
As a part of your transition to Trail’s End, our year-round staff will guide you through the process of getting your child ready for Day 1, including help with packing list questions, special needs that your child may have and making connections with other first time campers. Prior to camp, our Health Center Staff, Special Needs/Interests Coordinator, and Food Service Director will be in contact with you to discuss any medical or dietary needs.
Once your child arrives at camp, our level of support will extend to include the Head Counselors and Group Leaders. You will receive a Head Counselor Conference call during the first week of the summer to provide you with the details of your child’s transition to Trail’s End.
Lastly, and most importantly, our family is always available to help ensure that your entire family has a memorable summer experience.
