Accommodations

Each family will be assigned to their own bunk with one queen bed for parents and up to 4 single beds for children. Bunks can only be shared by people who have quarantined together for 14 days prior to arrival date. Each bunk has private bathrooms with provided cleaning supplies. While each bunk will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between FamCamp sessions, due to COVID-19, no one will be allowed in a family’s bunk during their stay.

*Bedding will be provided for the queen bed. Please bring your own pillows, towels, toiletries and bedding for the single beds.

Meals

Great food is a part of the TEC experience! Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, and Dinner are included and we have created a gourmet spin on your all-time favorites. Most meals will be served in the dining room with seating available inside or in the BBQ area. Each family will have their own assigned table which will be spaced out to allow for social distancing. We will accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice. Dining facilities will be cleaned after each meal.

Families are welcome to bring their own selection of snacks, drinks and beverages. TEC FamCamp is a BYOB event. Please remember we are a nut-free facility. On the packing list, you will see a cooler to store food and drinks. Remember to throw in a bottle opener and plastic drink cups. TEC can provide ice if needed. Our canteen will be open each evening to purchase additional snacks.

What if it rains?

Rain at camp is Liquid Sunshine! We will be prepared with a great rainy-day schedule. Credits/refunds cannot be issued due to inclement weather.

Staff

Alongside Marc and Sara, we have a team of experienced staff members who will help to make your stay memorable! The pool and lake will be staffed with lifeguards. We know there will be some very familiar faces that your campers will be excited to see.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available in designated areas in camp. However, we suggest that you bring a personal hot-spot as well.

Medical

Families should pack and be ready to administer their own medicine and prescriptions as well as basic OTC items (e.g. Tylenol, Advil, etc.). We will provide each bunk with a First Aid kit.

COVID-19 Safety Plans

PRE-CAMP

  • We recommend that each guest takes a COVID-19 test 4-5 days prior to coming to camp. You can opt for the VAULT-AT-HOME Saliva test (www.vaulthealth.com) or you can go through your own physician. Testing is not required but highly suggested.
  • Daily temperature checks and general health screening should occur 14 days prior to your visit. If anyone has any symptoms within this time, we ask that you do not attend.

AT CAMP

  • Your family should set your own rules for social distancing, as you would at home.
  • Masks are required indoors and when social distancing is not possible.
  • We kindly ask that you perform self-health screening and daily temperature checks.

CLEANING AND SANITIZING PROTOCOLS

  • Each bunk will be provided with cleaning supplies.
  • Bunks will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between sessions.
  • Our camp cleaning crew will sanitize all public areas daily.
  • Hand sanitizing stations and/or pumps will be at each activity area, in bunks, and all buildings.
  • All equipment will be properly washed and sanitized between use, multiple times throughout the day, and between each session.

LEAVING CAMP

There are many great activities and areas to explore in Wayne County. Prior to arrival, we will provide each family with information on local recreation, attractions and restaurants. Families comfortable leaving the TEC property are allowed to, so long as they follow Pennsylvania COVID-19 Guidelines and practice social distancing and wear face coverings when necessary.
